We spend an unreasonable amount of time looking at Orlando flight prices, which is partly how Orlando Deal Finder ended up existing in the first place.
And yes, cheap flights absolutely appear. But the cheapest number on the screen is not always the cheapest way to get your family to Orlando.
We compare the whole price
A £310 flight can be amazing. A £310 flight that becomes £480 once you add a suitcase, seats and the airport hotel you suddenly need is less exciting.
Whenever we share a flight deal, check what’s actually included. Baggage, seat selection, airport, dates and flight times can completely change whether it’s good value for you.
Check more than one Florida airport
We normally compare Orlando with Tampa as well. Depending on the dates and car hire, flying into one and out of another can sometimes work too.
Just remember to include the extra driving and any one-way car-hire implications in the maths.
Direct is worth something
We will take an indirect flight if the saving is genuinely worthwhile, but with a family we put a value on getting on the plane in the UK and getting off in Florida.
A £40 saving is probably not enough to make us excited about adding hours and another airport to the journey.
Be flexible if you can
Moving the holiday by a day or two can sometimes make a surprising difference. School holidays obviously make that harder, but it is always worth checking neighbouring dates rather than searching one exact departure and stopping there.
Do not assume you missed the deal
Flight prices move. Sometimes booking early works brilliantly. Sometimes a great fare appears later. We don’t believe there is one magic day of the week where Orlando flights suddenly become cheap for everyone.
We’d rather decide what price we’d be genuinely happy paying, watch the routes we want and book when the full package makes sense.
This is exactly what we track
We created Orlando Deal Finder because checking TUI, Virgin, British Airways and other options over and over is boring when you’re just trying to plan a holiday.
When we spot something that looks genuinely good, we share it. We’ll also flag where baggage may or may not be included rather than pretending every headline fare is directly comparable.
Our rule: compare the final cost, not just the exciting screenshot price.
